Gwyneth Paltrow shared her biggest regrets for raising her husband Brad Falchuk’s children in a new interview.
The 50-year-old actress shares 18-year-old daughter Apple and 16-year-old son Moses with ex-husband Chris Martin, and she shares stepparents 18-year-old Isabella and 16-year-old Brody with her 51-year-old husband.
Both Paltrow and Falchuk opened on the Goop podcastwhich was recorded on Tuesday just before her 50th birthday.

Paltrow and Falchuk tied the knot in 2018 after four years of dating, and although she had raised her own children, she still had doubts about stepparenting.
‘There’s just no script for how to do it. I think there’s such a thing as an archetypal evil stepmother and this inference that it’s going to be a loaded affair, so I got into it with tender hooks like, “Oh my gosh, you can only do a little wrong,” she began. .
She admitted that she was “shy”, “one regret”, although at one point she found her voice and that “everything changed”.

“However many years ago I thought, ‘F**k it, these are my kids. I love them. I won’t be afraid to punish them,” Gwyneth said.
“If someone were to ask me for advice, I would say from day one, just treat them like your child. I wish I’d done that sooner,” Paltrow said.
Her husband Falchuk insisted she is a “spectacular stepmother” to his children.

She also praised her ex Chris Martin, calling him “a great dad,” while joking that he was “much nicer” than her.
“The great thing is I don’t have to be their father. I don’t have to take care of the things their father takes care of them,” Brad added of Gwyneth’s kids.
