Gwen Stefani joins Blake Shelton at their Oklahoma ranch as they try to plant flower seeds before the rain… after Coachella performance

Gwen Stefani was hard at work at the Oklahoma ranch she shares with Blake Shelton in images shared Monday.

Stefani, 54, who reunited with No Doubt for the first time in nine years at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, was on a mission to sew some flower seeds in a series of videos shared to her Instagram Stories.

The Purple Irises singer and Shelton rode in the golf cart-style vehicle they use to tour their ranch as Stefani explained, “We have about five seconds to plant some zinnias, you call them ‘zin-ee-as.’ call them ‘zeen-ee-as’. We made it up ourselves,” she said to the camera.

The couple tried to beat the rain coming their way.

Shelton, 47, who appeared intent on driving, seemed hesitant to speak on camera at the same time, and got a little coaching from his wife who said, “Come on Blake, we’re trying to get along with the people. Involving.’

“We have five minutes of zinnias to plant,” he said, echoing her words.

“Have you seen Blake’s new glasses?” the It’s My Life artist asked, laughing at her husband’s reaction as he made a funny face for the camera.

When the couple arrived at the shed where they store their machines, the God’s Country singer started the rototill while Stefani went to the back of the machine to talk about the seeds she wanted to plant.

“I bought a huge California mix, five grand,” she explained as she bent down to pick up another pack. ‘These are really cute, Lilliput Zinnia mix, semi-dwarf collection. Normally we wouldn’t want them shorter, but they’re really cute, she explained.

Even on the farm, the founder of GXVE by Gwen managed to stay fashionable.

She wore full face makeup with thick lashes and a neutral lip and her blonde hair in a high bun.

She wore a long red and black checked shirt with rolled up sleeves over matching checked pants and a black T-shirt.

The fashionista wore knee-high boots covered in light denim.

Shelton appeared relaxed in brown and beige bamboo-patterned shirts and jeans.  He wore a khaki hat on his head and sported a scruffy beard

As accessories, she chose two diamond chokers and a diamond cross.

The couple also revealed that they were going to plant some camellias.

She picked up a large white plastic bag and revealed it was a Christmas present before attempting to open the bag of camellia seeds.

“Crap, my Coachella nails won’t let me garden,” she said as she struggled to get the seeds out of the bag.

After all the seeds were mixed in the back of the rototiller, the couple stepped inside with Shelton behind the driver’s seat to finish their chores.

“Hi ho, hi ho,” sang Stefani, as her husband finished the bar with his own melody, “we’re getting started.”

“Can you go faster Blake, we’re going like two miles an hour,” the Hey Baby singer asked. The Honey Bee artist jokingly started pretending to be on a speeding cart moving back and forth in the seat to simulate going faster like actors used to do in movies.

Finally they arrived at their destination. “Here it is, the field we are going to conquer,” Stefani explained, showing a piece of prepared land near a body of water.
