Orange County, California took the time to honor some of their more recognizable locals, past and present, in the first-ever Hall Of Fame.
On Friday, officials formally welcomed the first 10 inductees, including superstar singer-songwriter Gwen Stefaniwho seemed truly humbled and excited by the honor.
Stefani, 54, documented her proud day on Instagram, including a look at her unique outfit for the occasion.
She shared her excitement with her fans in a follow-up clip as she said, “Today I am being inducted into Orange County’s first ever Hall Of Fame; straight away.’
The No Doubt frontwoman was joined by her husband Blake Shelton.

For the ceremony, Stefani looked sensational as he modeled a funky denim 3D floral skirt with matching knee-high boots.
The quirky singer completed her look with a white button-up shirt and statement gold jewelry.
As she accepted the honor, the singer — who grew up in Fullerton and then Anaheim in Orange County — told the small audience, “I’m absolutely honored to be inducted.”
She went on to talk about how she grew up on a cul-de-sac not far from the Disneyland theme park.
Stefani recalled how she “ran out of our house every night at 8:30 to watch the fireworks” and how that became a “normal thing” for her family.
She added, “It was literally like Disneyland was our backyard.”

As she accepted the honor, the singer told the small crowd, “I’m absolutely honored to be inducted.”
Stefani appeared to become emotional as she made her comments during the introduction
“Orange County is where my dreams were born and the foundation that has shaped my life,” she continued during her speech, adding, “Anaheim, California is my roots; it’s my culture. I never left Anaheim behind. It’s always been with me.’
The musician was born in the city of Fullerton, in the northern part of Orange County, but grew up mainly in Anaheim.
After having her big music breakthrough in the 1990s with hits like Just a Girl, Don’t Speak, Hella Good and Hey Baby, the proud Southern Californian girl has never strayed too far from her childhood in Orange County on her journey through life. left behind.
“I’ve been able to share it with the world through my songs, through my style,” she revealed before adding, “I’ve always been proud and grateful for where I come from.”

Stefani attended Loara High School, a public high school in the Anaheim Union High School District, located in the southwestern Anaheim region of Anaheim, from which she graduated in 1987.

The mother of three attended Loara High School, a public four-year high school in the Anaheim Union High School District, located in the southwestern Anaheim region of Anaheim, from which she graduated in 1987.
The other inductees from the first class to the Hall Of Fame were songwriter Bill Medley, golf legend Tiger Woods, Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis, Olympic champion Amanda Beard, philanthropist Henry Segerstrom, civic leader General William Lyon, philanthropist Henry Segerstrom, businessman Frank Jao and Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant.
