Gwen Stefani broke down in TEARS during The Voice finale reveals to husband and fellow judge Blake Shelton: ‘I was literally sobbing’
Blake Shelton revealed that his wife and fellow judge, Gwen Stefani, broke down in tears during The Voice’s season 22 finale on Tuesday.
Shelton was a coach on The Voice for all 22 seasons and announced that the next one will be his last.
In an exclusive interview with entertainment tonightShelton shared the touching reason why his wife was sobbing.

“I walked over to Gwen’s chair after the cameras went off and she was there literally crying,” she told ET. She said, “This is the last time we’re going to do this together.”
The finale marked the last time the pair would be on the show together as judges, as Stefani would not be a judge on Shelton’s final season.
The Austin singer told ET he almost didn’t realize how emotional the night would be for him and his wife.
The gravity of the moment didn’t hit him until it was over.
Both Shelton and Stefani recognized the impact the show had on their lives after meeting on the show during season seven.

He told ET: “It’s going to be the last time she and I do this together, and it’s crazy to think about how the show changed my life.” I was so wrapped up in this I didn’t even think about it, and now you’re trying to get me excited!
After the show, Stefani posted on Twitter and said, ‘Ouch, that’s it! Forever grateful to @NBCTheVoice, this show has changed my life in more ways than I can count. Szn 22 forever!!!! gx #TheVoice.’
Despite his impending departure from the show, he said it would be an “honor” to mentor his wife’s future team.
“Whatever she tells me to do,” Shelton told ET.

Shelton’s team has won the show nine times after his most recent win in season 22 with country singer Bryce Leatherwood.
The show’s 23rd season would be Shelton’s last and would introduce former coach Kelly Clarkson and two new coaches, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan.
