Stefani spoke about her husband’s decision to leave the program during an interview with Additionalwhere she said he needed more time to spend with his loved ones.

“I don’t know if people realize that if he plays two seasons a year, he tours in between. So he actually has two teams at one point at a time, they overlap. It’s a lot of brain power. It’s a lot of time away from the family,’ she said.

The singer added, “He’s just gotten to a point where he just wants time at his ranch, time to do the other things that he likes to do.”
