Guy Sebastian’s neighbor has called on the pop star to release any mobile phone footage he captured of a confrontation between the pair after an edited version of it was leaked.
Footage of the verbal altercation between Sebastian and Phillip Hanslow outside their homes in Sydney’s eastern suburbs was published on Sunday, but it only shows part of their clash.
Sebastian, 41, accused Mr Hanslow, 66, of threatening to kill him in January amid a long-running dispute over the fence separating their Maroubra properties.

The Voice coach told Mr. Hanslow that their fiery encounter was caught on CCTV, but no such vision was ever discovered or provided in any subsequent court case.
An edited version of one of three segments of mobile phone footage taken by Sebastian on the day of the confrontation was published in the Sunday Telegraph.
That footage does not include several exchanges between the two men, including Mr. Hanslow accusing Sebastian of “making an ap***k of yourself” and saying “everyone hates your guts.”
Mr Hanslow’s lawyer, Bryan Wrench, told Daily Mail Australia his client wanted all three ‘raw and unabridged’ mobile phone recordings made public.
“Mr. Hanslow wants the unedited full videos released,” he said.
“We challenge Mr. Sebastian to release the full version of what happened.”
Police charged Mr Hanslow with stalking with intent to cause physical harm and damage to property after Sebastian said his neighbor had threatened his life.
Last week, Waverley’s local court heard that the charges had been dropped.
Daily Mail Australia understands that the charges have been dropped due to a lack of video evidence and the conflicting accounts of the two men’s events.
In the video released on Sunday, the Battle Scars lead singer confronts Mr Hanslow, accusing him of damaging the plastered fence between their properties.
Mr. Hanslow replies, “F**k yourself,” and Sebastian says, “Look at him, that’s how he talks every time.”
As Mr. Hanslow walks over to Sebastian, he says, “What are you going to do about it?”
Sebastian replies, “Mate, get out of my face.”
Mr Hanslow then asks a second time what Sebastian is going to do about it.
‘Always the same. Nothing my friend, you are an old man. I’m not going to take an old man,’ Sebastian replied.
The edited video doesn’t show Sebastian going on to say, “You’re always like this,” or Mr. Hanslow’s reply, “You wanted to make an ap***k of yourself in the first place.”
Mr Hanslow then tells Sebastian that he had tried to approach him about repairing the fence and ‘sorting it out diplomatically’, before the video cuts off.
Daily Mail Australia has obtained a transcript of a second video in which Sebastian accuses Mr Hanslow of trying to kill him.
“You put a bullet in my head, right?” said Sebastian.
Mr. Hanslow replied, “I didn’t say that.”
“Oh, you didn’t say that, did you?” said Sebastian.

Mr Hanslow then repeats that he ‘didn’t say that’.
“Too bad, there’s a camera over there,” Sebastian said.
‘Yes, I know where your camera is,’ Mr Hanslow replied.
Sebastian then points out a CCTV camera above the couple, which the court later learned was not working at the time.
“Yeah, aren’t you well,” Mr Hanslow says to the Australian Idol winner.
“You’re so worried about everyone that you have cameras everywhere, because everyone hates your guts.”
‘Is that correct?’ Sebastian responded.
Mr. Hanslow echoes his remarks by saying, “I’ve never heard anyone say a good word about you, mate.”
“Oh mate, that’s so sad, I’m getting my reviews, I keep getting my reviews,” Sebastian said.
Mr. Hanslow then replies, “Go do what you like.”
The pair discuss the fence between their properties, with Sebastian telling Mr. Hanslow that he had filmed him damaging the building.
“It’s never good enough for you,” Sebastian said.
“I paid for the whole fence. You didn’t pay for one thing. I did everything you asked, paid everything.’
In a third short video, Sebastian threatens to call the police and Mr. Hanslow tells him to do just that.
None of the footage shows Sebastian’s admission in his police statement that “we both told each other to fuck off.”
Mr Hanslow wants all the videos released, especially as Sebastian claimed there was CCTV footage of the conflict that was never presented in court.
Mr Wrench had questioned the lack of CCTV footage and the fact that Sebastian had initially handed over only two mobile phone videos of the encounter, while a third was produced after a summons was issued in March.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Alex Borg said the late discovery of the third video – which Mr Wrench says showed Sebastian being ‘demeaning, provocative and sarcastic’ to Mr Hanslow – was a police error.
While charges against Mr Hanslow were being dropped, a warrant for assault was issued preventing him from contacting Sebastian or entering his property.
That order, which was made without authorization, expires in August.
A spokeswoman for Sebastian made a statement to the Sunday Telegraph accompanying the release of the edited mobile phone images.
“I’m sure both sides are happy that this is over now,” she said.
“Police thought it appropriate to put an AV0 against the neighbour. Guy has no further comment on this matter and is concentrating on making new music and his mentoring role at The Voice.”
Last week, Hanslow told Daily Mail Australia he would “think twice before talking to a pop star again” after the charges were dropped.
He said he should never have been arrested in the first place and claimed he wouldn’t have been charged if his neighbor wasn’t a celebrity.
“If it had been an argument with a normal neighbour, it wouldn’t have progressed to this,” Mr Hanslow said.
“It took six cops and three police cars to arrest an old male.”
Mr Hanslow also said he has personally met Sebastian in the months since their legal feud began, but they have not exchanged words since January.
“I’ve been doing some work and he’s been a few feet away from me on the other side of the fence, but I’ve never intimidated or threatened him or anything,” he said.
“He’s a 41-year-old man and I’m 66 with medical issues, how could I intimidate someone that age?”
Mr Hanslow, who suffers from fibromyalgia, and his wife Carol, who is terminally ill, previously told Daily Mail Australia that Sebastian was a ‘vengeful’ person.
“He’s paranoid about security and has a big security camera outside, so everywhere I go outside on the property he can see…” he said earlier this month.
“We’ll have to sell. We’re too old for this.’
During a televised interview, Sebastian claimed that much had been said about the lawsuit “that’s not true.”
“This is an ongoing thing, not an isolated event, something happened between me and him where I actually asked him to stop damaging my property,” he said.
The alleged death threats followed six years of tension between neighbors, which arose when Sebastian and his wife Jules were building their house.
The couple paid $3.1 million for the property and spent nearly three years overhauling it to make it their “fortress-like” home.
Mr Hanslow claimed the extensive building work was causing ‘an enormous amount of friction’ in the neighbourhood.
