“It’s almost as if the artist is using the paintings to act as a spokesperson for the millennial generation that has overdosed on a toxic society.”
Rocco recently credited his famous parents with raising him in a “creative household” that has now led to a promising art career.
He has built a reputation as a talented painter and even co-founded his own gallery Maison Rhed, the name he used as the alias Rhed at the start of his career.
Speak against Vogue Hong KongRocco told how, although neither of his parents are painters, they nurtured a love of art in him from an early age.
He said, “It certainly helped to grow up in a home that was passionate about art and culture.
“Neither of my parents are painters, but both are artists in their own right and they taught me to appreciate and respect it.
“Their shared fascination eventually piqued my interest and I’ve been surrounded by them ever since I can remember.”
The young artist insisted he is proud of all the achievements of his famous parents, but wanted time to develop as a painter without “public judgement.”
He said, “Rhed is just a name. The only real meaning and importance of that was that my life and my career didn’t confuse each other, especially at a point where I haven’t yet earned the title.
“It’s not that I’m not proud to be who I am, on the contrary, I couldn’t be more proud of my parents and what they have achieved and taught me in turn.”

Woes: Elsewhere, Guy is reportedly being sued over his film The Gentleman after writer Mickey De Hara claimed it reproduced parts of a script previously submitted to the film director
However, it is alleged that Mickey was told “the time of the gangster movie was over” by Guy after he submitted the script that told the story of a man who ran a marijuana business in 2018, while the project was not being developed.
Two years later, The Gentleman was released, and Mickey claims the movie was a “substantial” reworking of his script.
The lawsuit alleges that The Gentleman copies Mickey’s cast and characters, and “unique aspects of the plot.”
Mickey claims his script featured a character called The Coach leading a group of tearjerkers called The Baby Squad, while in The Gentleman, Coach’s character (Colin Farrell) leads a gang of fighters called The Toddlers.
