Police shot and killed a male suspect after a shooting at a Walmart store in Indiana, USA.

Sergeant Anna Gray of the Evansville Police Department said: “He was shooting at officers and moving around.” She was all over the store.
The shooter wounded a female victim who was later taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Evansville police and Vanderburgh County sheriff’s deputies responded at 10 p.m. local time.
The shooter meandered through the hallways, shooting at officers before he was shot dead by police.
Police responded to a call made at 9:59 p.m. local time and exchanged gunfire with the suspect, Sgt. Gray said.
The victims reportedly fled the store when police arrived on the scene.
Minutes later, the Evansville Police Department tweeted that the threat had been “neutralized” and he was in custody.
No officers were injured during the shooting.
Sergeant Gray confirmed that the suspect was killed by police after shooting at authorities “several times”.
He added: “We’ve been taught that if there’s an active threat, we go in, we don’t stop, we don’t take the time to try to figure out what’s going on.”
“We go in and go where the shots are.”
Officers shortly thereafter cleared the area to attend to potential victims.
Sergeant Gray requested that witnesses call the police department with any information that may help the investigation.
Police did not provide a motive for the shooting Thursday night.
One victim was taken to a local hospital after sustaining an injury, the extent of which is unknown.
Prosecutors announced Tuesday that they would not seek the death penalty for mass shooter Patrick Crusius, who killed 23 people at an El Paso Walmart in 2019.
Crusius, 24, killed 23 people and injured 22 when he opened fire at a Walmart in his home state of Texas in August 2019.
Six were killed and six injured in November 2022 when another gunman, Andre Bing, opened fire at a Chesapeake store before killing himself.
The 31-year-old Walmart supervisor died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after attacking his colleagues at the Virginia branch.
The motive for the attack was unclear.
Another shooting at Walmart four days later left one injured at a North Carolina branch of the supermarket chain.
