Morlaye Sylla has been left out of Guinea's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations after falling out with the manager over a shirt he swapped with Vinicius Junior.
Guinea will kick off its campaign on January 15 when it takes on Cameroon before facing Gambia and reigning champions Senegal.
They will be without midfielder Sylla, who failed to make the squad after reportedly falling out with teammates and the manager following their 4-1 defeat to Brazil in June.
After the defeat, the 25-year-old swapped shirts with Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. before the shirt mysteriously disappeared into the locker room.
An aggrieved Sylla started pointing fingers at teammates before accusing manager Kaba Diawara of theft.

He then allegedly insisted on a thorough search of the entire dressing room, which increased tensions even further.
Sylla is yet to apologize and has paid the heavy price for missing the highly anticipated tournament despite being capped 23 times.
One midfielder who will be involved for Guinea is captain and former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita.
The 28-year-old, who joined Werder Bremen last summer, has missed a number of games due to injuries, but is fit again and will be on a plane to Ivory Coast next week.
