A man was allegedly attacked and tortured with a golf club during a horrific 24-hour ordeal, leaving him with a broken jaw and ribs.
Emergency services were called to a house in Rawson Road, Guildford, Sydney, at around 4.55pm on Sunday after reports of an attack.
Police confirmed that a 46-year-old man was found by officers in the building with multiple injuries to his face and chest.
After being treated by paramedics at the scene, the 46-year-old was taken to Westmead Hospital after the trauma he suffered left him in a serious condition.
