Guest spending $400 to stay at NSW caravan park discovers mould, cockroaches and a filthy mattress

A $400-a-night trailer park has come under fire from an irate guest who filmed the “dirty, shameful and disgusting” condition of his accommodation.
The TikTok clip filmed in the park on the south shore of New South Wales shows mold, roaches and unwashed cutlery.
The unimpressed guest walks over to his dirty mattress and says ‘damn skin and hair on it, how the hell is anyone supposed to sleep on that?’ That’s embarrassing!
He then reveals a mold-covered curtain, as well as a mold-covered sink.
‘Is this what you want when you wash your dishes and pans?
The unimpressed guest zooms in on his fifth mattress and says ‘damn skin and hair on it, how the hell is anyone supposed to sleep on that?’ That’s embarrassing!
‘Oh look at all that, that’s fucking embarrassing. You should be locked up. That’s fucking disgusting,” she said, anger clear in her voice.
He then rotates the camera to focus on an additional unwanted guest in the trailer.
‘Cockie! Cockroaches, that’s what you want when you go away (a vacation)’, she said.
But the cleanliness of the facilities is not the only concern of man.
He also complains about the loud growling sound coming from the air conditioning unit.
‘What the hell is going on?’ she says as a woman is heard laughing.
‘How is someone supposed to listen to that on a hot summer night and get some sleep?’
The next item that fueled his anger was a sandwich left on the ground.
“Ooh, pretzel,” he says. ‘Thank you to the previous owner and the damn cleaning people who came here and did such a thorough job.’
The TikToker complained about the state of the cutlery (pictured) in the caravan
A cockroach (pictured left) and a pretzel (pictured right) were allegedly found on the floor of the trailer park accommodation.
Next, he focuses on the cutlery tray. “(Look) how dirty the inside of this is,” she says.
‘How is anyone supposed to eat with these things?’
He says he can’t believe how poorly managed this whole place is. You should be ashamed of yourselves.’
He then shows clips of an online discussion he allegedly had with the owner.
The guest said that the air conditioning unit in his accommodation (pictured) was too noisy to sleep with it on.
Beneath a ‘Owner Response’ label it says ‘Everything is clean and tidy. You… just upset because you can’t park your car.’
Another response oddly says “Grow some teeth,” followed by a smiley emoji and three laughing and crying emojis.
A third purported response to the complainant reads ‘Nice try with the nurse! Even though you made a non-refundable reservation! Sorry, you can’t read!
The owner allegedly responded to the claimant (pictured) stating that the reservation was non-refundable
The owner allegedly also made a weird comment (pictured) about ‘growing some teeth’
Despite the TikTok video poster being angry and disappointed with his experience, the park has many good reviews online.
On TripAdvisor, it has an average rating of three out of five and four out of five for cleanliness.
One poster, rating it five out of five, wrote that they “had recently stayed here on two occasions.”
‘First for business and then for recreation. So impressed by the service, food and location. Keep up the good work! I’ll see you later!
Another, also giving it a five star rating, said: ‘Really friendly and welcoming park from the moment you walk into reception.
‘Clean services. Well spaced caravan sites. Highly recommend for anyone passing through.
