Guess who! Singer from popular 90s English pop group makes a low-key outing in Perth after touching down in Australia amid world tour

A singer from a popular ’90s pop group stepped out in Perth on Wednesday after arriving in Australia for their world tour.

The musician, 52, looked worlds away from his boy band heyday as he made a low-key appearance in Western Australia just hours before his first performance Down Under.

He was joined by his bandmates in the country for the band’s first Australian tour in seven years, a milestone.

The trio took to the stage at Perth’s RAC Arena on Wednesday night for their first show and have six more shows booked on their highly anticipated tour.

Stepping out for the show, the pop star cut a relaxed figure in a black vest top and workout shorts, which he wore over a pair of fitness leggings.

He stayed comfortable in a pair of white sneakers and shielded his eyes with dark glasses as he kept a low profile during the outing.

He was seen leaving his hotel to take a walk amid the balmy weather before taking the stage in front of his excited fans.

But can you guess who it is?

That’s right, it’s Mark Owen from Take That!

He has flown Down Under with his bandmates Gary Barlow and Howard Donald for the Australian leg of their This Life world tour.

The tour coincides with the release of their eponymous album last year and they will perform a mix of old and new songs.

Take That next heads to Adelaide on November 2, before performing at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on November 6.

They will take to the stage at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena the following day before heading to the Hunter Valley and Mount Cotton.

The band finishes in Auckland on November 14 and is supported by Murder On The Dancefloor singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Australian Idol’s Ricki-Lee Coulter.

The band was formed in 1990 and originally consisted of Gary, Howard and Mark, as well as Robbie Williams and Jason Orange.

In 1995, Take That had a number one hit in Australia with their signature song Back For Good.

Their other hits include Relight My Fire, Never Forget, Rule The World, Greatest Day and How Deep is Your Love.

Jason shocked fans when he confirmed he was quitting Take That in 2014 to step out of the spotlight and lead a quieter life.

Meanwhile, Robbie left the group in 1995 to pursue his solo career, rejoining them from 2010 to 2014 before refocusing on his own music.

He had huge chart success on his own, scoring number one singles including She’s The One, Millennium and Let Me Entertain You.

Robbie later revealed he was ‘in the middle of a nervous breakdown’ as he parted ways with the boy band in the middle of their Nobody Else world tour.

The Angels singer also admitted that he’s “not proud” of the things he said during the infamous feud with Gary that followed.

He branded Gary ‘clueless’ and said the band had ‘all the creativity of idiots’, but the pair have since repaired their relationship.

About their reconciliation, Robbie said: “We are family. And it’s like a blood family for all the good and all the bad, and we are intrinsically connected to each other on this journey on this planet. All of us: me, Jay, Howard, Mark and Gaz.

“I’ll always be the younger brother, and he [Gary] will always be the older brother. And I did things I’m not proud of and said things I’m not proud of in response to things I hope he’s not proud of either.

“That being said, Gary didn’t deserve that.”
