But these days, Jai Waetford is barely recognizable as the teenager who won over audiences with his sweet vocals.

Jai, now 25, will soon be seen in the gripping crime series Critical Incident, which will air on Stan later this year.

And fans seem to appreciate Jai’s new tough look.

A photo of the star posing against a swimming pool seemed to set Jai’s fans’ hearts racing.

The talented heartthrob, who was nicknamed ‘Aussie Bieber’ during the X Factor, made his acting debut in 2016 on Neighbours.

In 2017, he announced that he would be moving to Hollywood to pursue an acting career, shortly after signing with the powerful American talent agency Creative Artists Agency.

Since then, the talented artist has amassed a whopping 385,000 followers on Instagram.
