A talented Australian musician who has a very successful career overseas has shared a series of unrecognizable photos with his fans.
The 56-year-old star shared several photos of himself as a young man on Instagram, as well as some sweet images from his youth of him playing the guitar.
The four-time Grammy Award winner began his career in the 1990s in Australia, where he signed with EMI for his debut album.
Shortly after, he moved to the United States and released his self-titled American debut album in 1999.
Since then he has released 10 successful albums and collaborated with superstars such as Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Pink.
In 2005, he met a famous Hollywood actress at an event promoting Australian culture, and they married the following year.
In 2006, he checked into the renowned rehabilitation center Betty Ford Center to address his substance abuse issues. In 2007, he left the center with a new lease on life.
He was also a judge on singing competitions The Voice Australia and on seasons 12 through 15 of American Idol.

“For me, a ‘hometown’ always felt more like a place for my family and a place within me – a place where I could find my center,” he added, before announcing his new single Heart Is Like A Hometown.
The news came after Keith and his wife Nicole Kidman recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.

Nicole immortalized this special moment with a sweet photo of her and Keith by the ocean.
Keith played guitar while Nicole lay next to him.
“Forever,” she captioned the photo, adding a heart and adding the hashtag “Happy Anniversary.”
The lovebirds first met on January 15, 2005 at a G’Day USA gala in LA; Nicole and Keith are both from Australia.
They exchanged numbers, but he hadn’t called her for four months. After they met again in the summer, the couple’s relationship only grew stronger.
They announced their engagement in May 2006 and were married a month later, on June 25, 2006, in Sydney.
In 2008 they welcomed daughter Sunday and in 2010 daughter Faith.
