Guess who! Popular 80s popstar looks impossibly youthful at 66 as she prepares to kick off her Australian tour
A huge music star from the 80s has been spotted at Sydney airport, looking incredibly youthful even at the age of 66.
Belinda Carlisle turned heads on Saturday as the Heaven Is A Place On Earth hitmaker walked through the arrivals hall dressed head to toe in black.
Carlisle, who rose to fame as the lead singer of the Go-Go’s, paired dark pants with a black sweater and flat-soled shoes.
She wore her straight, strawberry-blonde locks loose, falling over her shoulders.
The Our Lips Are Sealed singer wore gold hoop earrings, several heavy bracelets and a large leopard print handbag.
Carlisle’s The Decades Australian tour kicks off on Wednesday in Perth, with stops in NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
Her tour ends on October 6 in Brisbane.
The appearance comes after Carlisle said he is an “older singer.”

In an interview with People last year, Belinda spoke out about ageism in the music industry.
“I’m an older singer now and I have to really prepare a lot,” she explained ahead of the U.S. summer leg of her Decades tour. “I used to take my voice for granted and now I don’t take it for granted at all.”
“I’m really lucky that I still get to do this, but I have to be careful,” she continued.
“When I’m on the road, I carry three humidifiers and have all kinds of rituals to keep my voice healthy while I’m working,” she added.

The Grammy nominee has been traveling the world with her husband Morgan Mason for more than two decades.
She explained that her experiences with age discrimination in the music industry influenced her decision to take a break from her career.
“When I turned 40, I was dumped by my record company. Singing was the only thing I could really do,” she explains.
“Of course I was terrified and panicked,” she recalls. “But then I thought, ‘Well, who am I?’ It started out as the most interesting part of my life — I had always been defined by what I did, so I knew there was more.”
“What I initially saw as a disaster turned out to be a great gift,” she said of the trip.
A few months earlier, Carlisle returned to pop music, releasing her new EP titled Kismet on May 12, a critically acclaimed five-song collaboration with award-winning songwriter Diane Warren.
