In 2003, she was made ‘the face of Australia in Italy’ by the Australian Tourist Commission.

She has also appeared in several Hollywood films, including Mad Max: Fury Road and The Water Diviner.

Of course, it is none other than Megan Gale.

In one photo, the 48-year-old was relaxing in the lounge in white pants and a blue sweater with her cat.

In another image, Megan looked glamorous in a blue dress and had her hair styled in waves as she looked into the distance.

She also explained in a lengthy caption why she believes raising the minimum age for children to have a social media account from 13 to 16 is essential.

‘I think back to myself when I was between 13 and 16 years old. Although I was quite well-liked by my peers and had the occasional boyfriend, I was also very shy at times, incredibly self-conscious and lacking in self-confidence,” she wrote.

“Part of this was because I had my heart broken a lot and had braces when I was 13 to 15.”

‘There was no way my thin skin could have tolerated the criticism on social media at the time. Even now, with my skin much thicker, almost three decades in the public eye and at the age of 48, I still have the odd day where social media and its dark underbelly negatively impacts me.”

β€œYes, it can be a great platform in so many ways, but we can all agree: sometimes it’s not so great for us and we need to be in the right head space to deal with it.”
