GTA 6 will be released in late 2025, according to Take-Two’s financial report
It resembles Grand Theft Auto6 won’t be released until the end of 2025, according to publisher Take-Two Interactive’s latest financial report.
As reported by VGCTake-Two continues GTA6s release window in a recent financial report. The publisher aims to release the game during the “Fall of Calendar 2025”. That would most likely be between the months of September and November, making it a holiday release. This also becomes narrower GTA6s launch window somewhat, as it was previously planned for a vaguer “2025” in the initial reveal trailer.
“Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window from Calendar 2025 to the fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto6”, the financial report said. “Consumer expectations for the title are at an all-time high and our expectations for the commercial appeal continue to grow.”
One thing worth keeping in mind is that this is still just a targeted release window. While GTA6 has clearly been in development for a while, its late 2025 release isn’t necessarily a guarantee. So don’t be surprised if the game slips to early or even mid-2026 if developer Rockstar Games needs more time to polish the product. However, if GTA 5 initially launched in September 2013, it is highly likely that the highly anticipated sequel will fall in line with this time frame.
GTA6 features two playable protagonists, reportedly inspired by the iconic criminal duo Bonnie and Clyde. Set in Leonida, a fictional version of the US state of Florida, the game also sees the return of the iconic Vice City. It’s likely to be a monster game, both in terms of reception and sales, and we look forward to putting the product into practice when it comes out.
