Game Pass ended 2023 with a strong lineup that included heavy hitters Remnant: from the ashes, Against the storm, Far Cry6And The Rise of the Tomb Raider. 2024 starts with a handful of major games leaving Microsoft's subscription service, including Grand Theft Auto 5, Persona 3 portableAnd Person 4 Golden.
These meaty games are leaving Game Pass in the next two weeks, so if you haven't started your Persona playthroughs yet… good luck. You have until mid-January to sprint through those hefty role-playing games.
Grand Theft Auto 5 completes its third tour on Xbox Game Pass this month; Rockstar Games' open-world crime epic was re-added to Game Pass in July 2023. Xbox Game Pass's biggest competitor, PlayStation Plus Extra, has just arrived Grand Theft Auto 5 in December. GTA 5 is currently available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 with PS Plus Extra, Sony's middle tier of its PlayStation Plus service.
When Person 4 Golden And Persona 3 portable disappear from Game Pass, they will have been available through the subscription service for about a year. Atlus brought both games to Game Pass last January. Person 3 Reload will be available via Game Pass in February, when Atlus' remake releases on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series
Grand Theft Auto 5's move and shake on gaming subscription platforms comes shortly after Rockstar showed off Grand Theft Auto6 for the first time last month. GTA6 won't be released until 2025, Rockstar says.
Xbox Game Pass costs $10.99 per month, while PC Game Pass costs $9.99 per month. PC Game Pass provides access to EA Play, which offers an additional 70 games on PC. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, for $16.99 per month, gives subscribers access to everything – the PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass libraries, EA Play on both console and PC – as well as access to online multiplayer. Xbox Game Pass Core costs $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
