Grupo Piñero Allots €16 Million for Hotel and Golf Facilities Upgrades in the Dominican Republic

Grupo Piñero, the parent company of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, is forging ahead with significant growth plans for 2023, which include remodeling several hotels and golf courses.

The funding will go toward the Bahia Principe Residences and Golf division, whose five-year plan primarily emphasizes innovation and sustainable growth. The hotel group will provide its residential and golf division €16 million to upgrade the beach club and golf clubhouse in the Dominican Republic. A Grupo Piñero press release said, “Walkways will be built, and the “AIRE” leisure and commercial center will receive improvements.” 

Additionally, there are plans to upgrade and add electric cars to the company’s fleet of Solbus vehicles, which is currently home to some of the most up-to-date and secure vehicles in the Dominican Republic.

Grupo Piñero’s expansion plans for 2023 include creating additional offices in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Puerto Plata, tripling its staff in Mexico, and hiring 70% more people in the Dominican Republic.
