Groom sparks outrage over his vows after telling his bride he promises to ‘smack that a** every chance I get’
A groom faces strong backlash for his thoughtless wedding vows, which consisted of just one rude line about his bride's backside.
Samuel Foree van CK Entertainmenta videography company based in Louisville, Kentucky, went viral on TikTok after sharing film material by Cody Sheehan who made his chilling promise to his wife-to-be Kaitlin Brooks at the altar in September.
“I promise I'll hit it every chance I get. Booyah,” Sheehan, 27, he said, laughing. “That's all I have.”
The cheeky line got a few chuckles from the guests, until they realized he hadn't prepared any other words.

The officiant gave the groom several chances to redeem himself and say something more sincere, but he refused
'Is that it?' the officer asked as Sheehan continued to laugh.
“Yes,” he replied.
Sheehan was still laughing, but no one else was.
“Come on, Cody,” an unamused visitor could be heard saying in the background.
'Are you sure?' the officiant asked, giving the groom another chance to redeem himself on his wedding day.
“I didn't write anything down,” Sheehan admitted.
Trying to get him to think one last time, the officer asked, “Are you going out with that?”
'That's what I'm going for,” the groom confirmed. “We've held on for so long.”

Foree warned in the caption, writing, “FELLAS, this is your cue to start writing those vows… now.”

Many people expressed shock on behalf of the bride and condemned Sheehan for not taking the opportunity to tell Brooks how much he loved her.
“He basically said, 'Well, I've been treating her badly for so long. Why should I do better now?' I would have walked there every now and then,” one person wrote.
“Update me (on) the divorce,” someone else responded.
“This would only be funny to me if it was about the end of his actual vows, but bro (just) didn't care enough about her to write one,” another added.
Many people also pointed out how the officiant gave the groom three chances to say something, and he refused to come up with anything more sincere.
'”Are you sure?” Bro, that was your HINT to say more than what you just said,” someone commented.
“Notice he's literally the only one laughing,” someone else commented. 'Even his own friends don't laugh. The referee gave him not one, not two, but three chances…'
