Before Wednesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant brought his four-year-old daughter Kaari onto the court for warmups.
Kaari can be seen jumping up and down as she holds the ball for several seconds, takes a few dribbles and passes the ball to her NBA father, who completes the slam dunk.
The Grizzlies didn't have much to be excited about this season and were defeated again on Wednesday – 116-111 by the Raptors.
But seeing Morant, the team's biggest star, back on the field and happy is a great sign for the future of the franchise.
Morant, who led the Grizzlies with 28 points, nine assists and eight rebounds at Tennessee, returned from a 25-game suspension on Dec. 19 after displaying a gun on Instagram for the second time.

Heading into Wednesday night's action, the Grizzlies were 5.5 games out of 10th place and qualifying for a Play-In game.
Morant's return will certainly improve Memphis' chances of improving the Western Conference standings.
Morant had the child with his girlfriend, KK Dixon.
Dixon and Morant have been dating since 2018, while Kaari was born in 2019.
