Greta Thunberg sparks outrage as she yells ‘F*** Israel and f*** Germany’ at ‘Palestine and climate movement solidarity’ rally
Greta Thunberg has sparked huge outrage after shouting ‘f*** Israel and f*** Germany’ as she cackled at a ‘solidarity rally for Palestine and the climate movement’.
The climate activist is said to have spoken on Friday at a meeting in the city of Mannheim, organized by the Zaytouna group.
It was held in the city’s main market square, where Thunberg, 21, laughed as she shouted the expletives as the crowd cheered and clapped.
A city spokesperson said more than 700 people attended and added that the demonstration was peaceful.
But critics said the young activist’s words were far from innocent.
“Mannheim does not need a platform for such inhumane views and our country does not need the presence of people like Greta Thunberg,” said Manuel Hagel, leader of the Conservative regional parliamentary party. Jerusalem Post.
Hagel added that Thunberg “very consciously moved in the vicinity of anti-Semitism.”
Thunberg has a long history of civil disobedience.

Earlier this year, she was taken away by police when they fired a water cannon at demonstrators protesting against fossil fuels in the Netherlands.
The Swedish climate activist protested alongside members of Extinction Rebellion (XR) as they blocked a busy intersection leading to a highway in The Hague.
Footage shows Thunberg and others being sprayed with water after police used a cannon before removing the group of about 50 protesters.
More XR activists also blocked another road, near the House of Representatives building and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, as well as a lane on the local highway.
She was also taken into police custody a month earlier after speaking at an Extinction Rebellion protest in Helsinki in June.
Thunberg, who spoke at the massive rally while wearing a keffiyeh, a garment associated with the Palestinian resistance, was taken to a police van after speaking, according to local media.
According to Helsinki Police Chief Heikki Porola, arrests were made at the time after demonstrators refused to leave the area while the protest was peaceful.
Thunberg has previously come under fire for her pro-Palestinian stance from Jewish groups.
The German branch of the climate movement Fridays for Future has also distanced itself from her.

Ms Thunberg will take part in a march for climate and justice in Amsterdam on November 12, 2023
Thunberg had “accused those in power of not listening” to the “voices of those who are oppressed” in the Gaza Strip during her speech to tens of thousands of people.
She spoke out at an event during the climate protest in Amsterdam last November, where she urged ‘a ceasefire now’ as she Palestinian black and white scarf.
She had “accused those in power of not listening” to the “voices of those who are oppressed” in the Gaza Strip during her speech to tens of thousands of climate protesters.
Her outburst marked “the end of Greta Thunberg as a climate activist,” said Volker Becker, president of the German-Israeli Association DIG, adding that “from now on: hating Israel is the most important task” for the Swedish activist.
At the time, Luisa Neubauer, head of the German branch of the Fridays for Future movement, said Ms Thunberg ‘extremely reflective and far-sighted’ in the past, but that the German branch will now have to investigate ‘with whom we still have a basis to work together on the basis of common values’.
‘It is clear that for many global organizations the global reality is divergent when it comes to Israel and Palestine. But that does not justify disinformation,” she added.
