Gregg Wallace has shared a photo of his son Sid, four, enjoying a hug from his dad.
The sweet photo shared to Instagram on Saturday showed the Masterchef host gazing at his youngest child as they snuggled up on the sofa. “Me n my little boy Sid,” the star lovingly captioned the post.
The new photo of Sid, who was diagnosed with autism in 2022, left fans in tears.
One fan commented: 'Now pretend to chop onions!! What a nice picture. No words needed.'

In July, Gregg opened up to the Ny Breaking about his close bond with his son. Speaking about Sid's development, Gregg admitted: 'Sid is four years old, Sid is autistic, Sid is non-verbal.'
“He's still in diapers. He doesn't use cutlery. His food choices are very limited, but he is a beautiful boy.
'Luckily we don't have that many sensory problems. He loves to play, he loves to cuddle. And we see more and more interaction, which gives us hope. And that's all we need.'
Gregg spoke for the first time about how Sid's physical contact with his parents improved.
The TV star explained: 'As soon as they make contact, you want to compliment them, hold their hand, look at their face, put on a show. Make it exciting so they want to stay in your world and not retreat into theirs. It's hard, but so far it's working.'
'Sid lies down on a rug with his iPad, rocking back and forth. If they withdraw, you withdraw with them. I sit on the carpet about a meter away from him and do exactly the same as him.'
'He came to me, lay next to me and put his hand on my arm or his head on my shoulder. It is awesome. We have no idea how far this will go, but we will keep trying, because we already see a difference in him.'
Anna took an online course with American experts in the second half of 2023 to understand how best to deal with Sid.

“She is learning to coach him, not to cure or reverse his autism, but to coach him to communicate and possibly speak,” Gregg explained.
A viewer called to tell him about the US approach after he mentioned Sid in a recent episode of Loose Women. “I've started encouraging different playing methods and interactions with Sid and we're seeing progress.”
Earlier this year, Gregg announced a major career change. He quit his hit show Inside The Factory to support Sid and help Anna find the right educational environment for their son.
Gregg, a former greengrocer, described Sid as a 'sweet, sweet little boy' with a 'wonderful mum', but admitted that 'it's not easy'.

The MasterChef presenter admitted that filming the show involves a lot of traveling away from his family as he visits factories around the country.
“So I've decided that I'm not actually going to do Inside The Factory anymore,” the star said.
'Right now we have to find him an education and I can't just leave that to Anna – that's a big, big decision.
“I mean, all parents worry about the schools their kids go to. Ours is being put even more in the spotlight because of poor little Sid's problems.'
