The convicted drug dealer jailed in 2009 had been a member of their “Terror Team” management and was named in court documents as a primary player in the gang’s activities.

However, Keating and Bowden left the club after a major police crackdown on cyclists in 2013, following the ‘Broadbeach brawl’.

CCTV cameras captured the moment when about 50 Bandidos stormed a restaurant district to attack a rival gang before getting into a wild brawl with police.

Public outcry led to the introduction of harsh new laws in Queensland, making it harder for motorcyclists to work and even cope.

As a result, a wave of Finks, including Keating and Bowden, “defected” to the Mongols in Melbourne.

But soon after, the pair returned to the Gold Coast and rejoined the Finks.
