Greenacre, Sydney: Shots fired at home of notorious pack rapist Mohammed Skaf

>

Shots were fired at a house in southwestern Sydney believed to belong to notorious pack rapist Mohammed Skaf.

Police were called to a home on Valencia Street in Greenacre just after 9 p.m. on Sunday night after reports of bullets being fired into the house.

The modest one-storey house is believed to be where Skaf lived after he was released from the Long Bay prison complex in October 2021.

A spokesman for the NSW Police said officers present were informed that a vehicle had fled the street moments after the public shooting.

‘There are no reports of injuries; however, NSW Ambulance paramedics were called in to treat a woman for the effects of shock,” they said.

After his release from Long Bay in October 2021, Skaf was driven to his family’s home in Greenacre in southwestern Sydney, where he lives with his family.

NSW Police said a crime scene had been established while the investigation of the area was underway (photo, police talk to residents at the scene Sunday night)

Footage of the scene shows residents talking to authorities while officers and police dogs are on hand to scour the site for clues.

The PolAir helicopter was seen as police set up a crime scene near Greenacre’s home, about 10 miles south-west of the city.

Gang rapist Mohammed Skaf left prison last October after serving nearly 21 years in prison

Skaf was released from Long Bay Prison in Sydney after serving nearly 21 years in prison for his crimes. He has always maintained that he is innocent and not a rapist.

He was part of a gang of Lebanese-Australian youth led by his older brother Bilal, who committed mass rapes in southwestern Sydney in the weeks leading up to the 2000 Olympics.

At least six women and girls were held against their will and repeatedly sexually assaulted in four attacks that shocked Australia.

A woman was raped 25 times by 14 assailants in three locations while being called an ‘Aussie pig’ in an ordeal that lasted six hours.

Skaf, who was convicted of two of the rapes, was 17 at the time of the offenses and is now 38. His brother Bilal was nearly 19 and is now 40.

On leaving prison, he was driven to his family’s home, where he lives with his parents, sister and younger brother, where he is closely watched.

After a series of new convictions and appeals, that term was reduced to a maximum of 22 years, 11 months and 30 days.

Skaf’s sister told Daily Mail Australia at the time that her family was ready to welcome her brother home.

“We look forward to seeing him come home and hopefully he will start a life that we have never experienced before,” she said.

“We’re pretty excited and happy that he’s coming home.”

The family lives on a quiet street about 1.7 km from Gosling Park, where one of the gang’s gang rapes was committed on August 12, 2000.

The gang, led by Bilal Skaf, took two teenagers, ages 17 and 18, to a toilet block in Northcote Park, Greenacre, where they were raped by eight men on August 10, 2000. The park, which is 750 meters from the Skaf family’s house, is pictured

Skaf had lured a 16-year-old girl he knew to the park where Bilal and a second mobster raped her while a dozen more young men watched.

He must not have any contact with his victims or co-offenders and must not visit the municipal areas of Liverpool, Fairfield, Blacktown or Parramatta.

Skaf is considered to be at low-to-moderate risk of “general recidivism,” but a Corrective Services psychologist rated him as “well above average” for committing new sex crimes.
