Traditions have captured the wild moment when a woman throws mud at them after they cut the power lines without telling her.
Builders were working on a house in Greenacre, southwest Sydney, when the woman stormed out of her house next door to complain.
She quickly begins throwing large clumps of mud onto her neighbor’s pristine driveway, while her husband collects a large garden hose.
The owner, dressed in black from head to toe, shrugs as the older woman continues to yell, point at the construction workers and throw mud.
“This is all Greenacre,” says the man behind the camera. ‘Come live in Greenacre, it’s an insanely crazy place. Shooting, killing, neighbours…”
Angry neighbor began throwing large clumps of mud onto her neighbor’s pristine driveway after his construction workers cut off the electricity without warning
One of the construction workers wearing a safety vest starts pounding the driveway with a large hammer, seemingly ignoring the pair.
“The guys ripped off the wire,” the man tells the camera.
The neighbor resorts to throwing mud again before walking over to the man with the camera holding a large stone before waving her arm in preparation to throw it.
“She’s going to throw a rock at me,” says the man.
The elderly couple continued to yell and pace in their private driveway for several minutes before being told the cable would be reconnected.
Viewers were divided on who was wrong, the woman or the traditions.
The altercation between the woman and her neighbor was captured earlier this week in South West Sydney’s Greenacre, with viewers divided as to who was at fault
“They cut the electricity without warning and the lady was cooking. That’s why she got angry,” one of them explained.
“Well, if you cut their power without notice, then I understand why she’s upset,” said another.
“Okay, they accidentally cut her power, will probably be fixed. She doesn’t like the fence. It’s not the builder’s fault,” a third suggested.
I’m still waiting for yiayia to finish cooking,” joked a fourth.
