Packers fans are affectionately known as cheeseheads … but one supporter in Atlanta on Sunday might have gotten a little more than he bargained for.
Green Bay was at the Mercedes-Benz to take on the Falcons, and they headed into halftime with a lead over the home team.
As a fan decked out in Packers colors rejoiced in his team’s success, the Falcons mascot took matters into his own hands and threw a vat of cheese sauce right over his head.
The hilarious scenes were captured by FOX Sports’ live television cameras, with the moment tweeted alongside the caption: “It’s getting cheesy in Atlanta.”
Packers fans are known as cheeseheads because of the amount of cheese produced in the Wisconsin area.
