Green Bay Packers face anxious wait on Jordan Love injury after team’s star quarterback limped off in final seconds of Philadelphia Eagles defeat

The Green Bay Packers are anxiously awaiting the severity of the lower leg injury quarterback Jordan Love suffered Friday night.

Love’s leg buckled under the weight of a tackle as he tried to keep the Packers alive in the final six seconds of their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 25-year-old, who signed a four-year, $220 million contract in July, was seen rolling in pain as medical staff rushed to treat him.

Love was able to leave the field, but required assistance from the medical staff and Packers running back Josh Jacobs.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said he “didn’t know” the extent of the damage to Love’s leg. The next game is Sept. 15 against the Indianapolis Colts.

More to come.
