Grayson Goodwin: St George rugby league legend Ted Goodwin’s son allegedly planned to deal more than 21kg of drugs including cocaine and meth, court hears
The son of football legend ‘Lord Ted’ Goodwin remains in custody while facing charges of supplying a cocktail of illegal drugs including cocaine and MDMA.
Grayson Goodwin failed to appear in court at Downing Centre on Tuesday, where he is facing 11 charges including large-scale drug trafficking and participating in a criminal organisation.
Police allege Mr Goodwin, son of the St George Illawarra Dragons legend, had in his possession and intended to sell 692 grams of MDMA, 10kg of ketamine and 1548 grams of methylamphetamine.

Court documents show officers accuse the 34-year-old man of possessing 1 kilogram of methamphetamine, cocaine and ephedrine and carrying $151,000 in cash.
Mr Goodwin was arrested by police in Cronulla at 6am on November 10 on suspicion of being part of a criminal gang. He did not apply for bail on Tuesday.
Simone Fisher, 28, is one of the co-defendants alongside Mr Grayson and also did not appear in court that day because she was excused from future court hearings.
According to the police, Mrs. Fisher knowingly participated in a criminal gang and ‘earned $2,500 from criminal activities’. She was also allegedly involved in the supply of cocaine.

Neither Ms Fisher nor Mr Goodwin have entered a defence to the numerous drug-related charges and are due to appear in court again on October 8 after a briefing with police.
Mr Grayson’s father, Ted Goodwin – also known as ‘Lord Ted’ – played in three first grade finals with the St George Illawarra Dragons between 1972 and 1978.
He subsequently played for the Newtown Jets and the Western Suburb Magpies before becoming a licensed referee in Perth and later South Sydney until 2001.
