In February, Grant, a father of three, shared the exciting news that Sunday was in a less limiting cast that only covers her hips and thighs.

Sharing a sweet video of her running, the TV host said she was “finally finding a way to get the mobility she always dreamed of.”

‘She’s running, this is huge! So proud of our beautiful little Sunday,’ she wrote.

“She hasn’t let her hip dysplasia hold her back. It’s been eight months of a full body cast and now this. Finally, she’s discovering a way to get the mobility she’s always dreamed of.

‘What every child needs and deserves. She’s way behind on some milestones compared to others because of her dislocated hip, but then again, she’s flourishing like you wouldn’t believe in so many other ways.’

Hip dysplasia occurs when the hip socket does not completely cover the ball part of the upper femur, causing the hip joint to partially or completely dislocate.

Doctors usually check babies for signs of hip dysplasia, and when diagnosed in early childhood, a soft brace can usually correct hip dysplasia.
