A grandmother who has a ranking to rank her family has gone viral after bumping her grandson to the last spot to punish him for his new tattoos.
New York comedian Dan LaMorte, 27, went from his grandmother’s fourth favorite grandchild to her tenth this week after showing her the new ink on his arm.
“This is my grandmother’s ranking board,” he explained in his… now-viral video. “She has a wooden board on which she ranks the 10 grandchildren from 1 to 10, all our faces on magnets.”
New York comedian Dan LaMorte, 27, went viral on TikTok this week after revealing that his grandmother ranks her 10 grandchildren
LaMorte was proud to be number 4, the highest he’d ever been, but he expected that to change as he got two new tattoos on his arm
LaMorte’s grandmother gasped when she saw the ink on his arm and immediately turned to her scoreboard
LaMorte was happy to be in the top five, but he knew he would disappoint her.
“I’m number 4, the tallest I’ve ever been,” he said. “I just got two new tattoos, so I’m a little nervous about what that will do to my ranking.”
The comedian then lifted his T-shirt to show his grandmother the intricate design on his upper arm and asked, “What do you think of my new tattoos?”
LaMorte’s grandmother gasped and immediately turned to her leaderboard.
“This is what I think of your new tattoos,” she said, placing his magnet to the number 10 beneath two of his male cousins.
“This is what I think of your new tattoos,” she said, moving his magnet to the number 10
LaMorte then zoomed in on the leaderboard to show that he was now in last place, below two of his male cousins
The video has been viewed more than 1.6 million times and people didn’t know what to think of his grandmother arranging her grandchildren.
“Damn she’s cheeky,” one person commented, while another joked, “And I thought my family was poisonous…”
Many viewers wanted to know what his cousins did to secure their spot, including one person who asked, “What did the previous #10 do???”
“That would be its own video,” LaMorte said.

And while the comedian is now in last place, a number of people pointed out that he is in a better place than the former number 10 – who is now covered in his face.
‘Suddenly you’re #10, but at least you’re not’ [the] previous #10 which is now invisible,” one commented.
“She was hesitant to swap 10 for 4 and just covered it up,” another commented.
‘Imagine being #10 and then finally thinking [someone] otherwise grandma will disappoint even more, only for her to leave you on #10, but hidden,” shared someone else. “Is #10 okay?”
