Graham Potter has spoken out on Chelsea’s record spending with American owner Todd Boehly happy with the cash, insisting he is not bothered by opposition comments about club activity by opposition managers .

The Englishman has previously maintained an open and honest approach when dealing with the media and appears keen to address questions about Chelsea’s transfer activity.

The struggling Blues spent more than £320m in the January transfer window, bringing their total spending on Boehly since their summer takeover push to over £600m.

Despite being ninth in the Premier League standings in the midst of a struggling season, a seemingly confident Potter told him Chelsea official website: ‘We have spent the money we have spent. The media are not going to let that go unnoticed.
