Grace Jones, Craig David and Primal Scream are ALL confirmed headliners for next summer’s Camp Bestival
Grace Jones, Craig David and Primal Scream have all been announced as headliners for Camp Bestival 2023.
The family-friendly festival, which takes place at two locations, will celebrate its 15th anniversary this summer.
Music icon Jones, along with RnB star David, playing his hugely popular TS5 set, will headline the event alongside rockers The Kooks from 27-30 July at the event in Dorset.
Scottish rock band Primal Scream, chart-topping hits Rudimental and 80s favorites The Human League will headline the Shropshire venue at Weston Park from August 17-20.

The family-friendly Camp Bestival will be held next year at Lulworth Castle, Dorset and Shropshire
Spice Girl Melanie C and Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be featured at both festivals, which are three weeks apart, as well as
Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder, X Factor singer Ella Henderson and Nineties stars East 17 throwing their own Christmas party – in the middle of summer.

Speaking of the Camp Bestival Dorset line-up, Josie and Rob da Bank of the festivals said: ‘Who says November is dull and dull?
‘Look what we’ve got for you happy campers – something for everyone from young to old and it’s all happening at our 15th birthday party.
‘Prepare to make some seriously strong memories in our beautiful seaside castle, from the iconic Grace Jones and party starter Craig David to perennial favorites Horrible Histories, Junior Jungle and you’ll have to pull a cracker at East 17s Christmas Party. And never forget… We Are Family.’
When East 17 joined the Bestival bill, he said, “Who says you can’t get into the Christmas spirit in the summer?” We can’t wait to bring an East 17 festive extravaganza to Shropshire for our Camp Bestival debut. Take off the white puffer jackets and see you in the fields.”
The 2023 will be Camp Bestival’s second time coming to Shropshire following its successful launch last summer.
Josie and Rob have confirmed that the venue will welcome the Big Camp Fancy Dress Parade – an unthemed costume party – as well as circus spectacles, comedy, ‘exquisite food and drink’, wellness and health pursuits and a firework display.
Next year’s event will also feature Rudimental and 80’s favorites The Human League
They added: ‘We couldn’t have been happier with the venue, the weather, the crowd and the atmosphere. Oh yes and paddle boarding around a beautiful lake with our kids. A dream.
So we’re back for 2023 hoping to ramp up the levels even more, from introducing a brand new Camp costume parade, raft building and plenty of cool new little pop-ups to mega pop stars and indie giants on the main stage . See you in the Weston Park garden in August.”
