TV reporter Grace Fitzgibbon breaks her silence on Tiffany Salmond’s late night phone call that blew up her relationship with Fox Sports ‘Golden Boy’ Jake Duke

TV reporter Grace Fitzgibbon has confessed she is going through the “toughest experience” of her life after dumping Fox Sports presenter Jake Duke following a late night phone call from a female colleague.

Fitzgibbon, 31, ended her three-year relationship with Duke, 30, this weekend after receiving an unexpected phone call from Kiwi rugby league reporter Tiffany Salmond in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Salmond, 26, has since told friends she didn’t know Duke had a girlfriend when she called him, claiming Fitzgibbon was rarely seen on the rising Fox star’s personal Instagram page.

Fitzgibbon appeared visibly shaken on Thursday morning when approached by Ny Breaking Australia outside Channel Seven’s headquarters in Sydney.

“This has been one of the toughest experiences of my life,” she said.

Fox Sports ‘Golden Boy’ and Fitzgibbon’s relationship imploded after he received a phone call late Saturday evening from a New Zealand colleague, Tiffany Salmond.

“Please respect my privacy.”

Fitzgibbon returned to work on Thursday after being left ‘devastated and heartbroken’ by the call.

The news anchor and part-time wedding officiant looked chic as she walked from a local coffee shop to the network’s offices, wearing a white sheath midi dress and black pumps.

She is believed to have left the couple’s Freshwater unit on Sydney’s northern beaches on Monday, briefly posting an image of stacked cardboard boxes that became the talk of the TV circles.

Duke is understood to have stayed with his good friend, fellow TV presenter Danika Mason, before flying to Fiji on Wednesday to cover a trial match between the Newcastle Knights and the Melbourne Storm.

Duke regularly travels to New Zealand for his TV presenting commitments.

Ms Salmond caught the eye of Fox Sports ‘golden boy’ Jake Duke

Salmond, who likes to post scantily clad bikini photos on social media, has told friends she didn’t know Duke had a girlfriend

Earlier this week, new photos emerged of Salmond and Duke working together for Fox Sports last September at an NRL match in Auckland, where Salmond lives.

Salmond visited Sydney last week and shared photos from her trip, including shots of herself on the Sydney Harbor Bridge and dining at Woolloomooloo Wharf.

“I have a background in journalism, reporting and production with a passion for sports broadcasting and rugby league,” her LinkedIn profile reads.

In an apparent bid to limit the damage, Salmond is said to have deleted an Instagram post of himself in a bikini this week with a cryptic caption referring to infidelity.
