Leighton Meester was spotted on the Gold Coast by shocked fans after traveling Down Under to film for a new drama series.
The actress, 37, best known for her portrayal of Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, was spotted posing for photos with fans outside the Burleigh Pavilion bar in Burleigh Heads.
An enthusiastic fan took to TikTok to share a smiling photo of themselves with the star, sharing how they met her on a night out.
Ilayda Ozcan explained how she and her friend were enjoying a night out on the town when they spotted the star, before being urged to say hello by the bouncers.
She said: ‘I went to the bouncer and I was like, ‘Is that her’, and they said, ‘Yes, go to her’.”

She then admitted that Leighton saw them looking and asked if they wanted a photo before they had a chance to approach her.
Her friend said with a laugh, “She literally saw us staring at her!”
Ilayda said she asked Leighton what she was doing Down Under, to which she replied that she was filming.
At the end of the video, she honestly admitted, “But we’ve never seen Gossip Girl!”
The video sent fans into a tailspin as fans of The CW show quickly took to the comments to share their jealousy.
One fan shared how they also saw her Down Under, writing: ‘I sat opposite her in Justin Lane on Saturday night. At first I wasn’t sure if it was her and now I’ve come across your video!!!!’

Leighton is in Queensland filming her upcoming comedy drama series Good Cop/Bad Cop.
The eight-part Stan series was created by Will & Grace writer John Quaintance and also stars Luke Cook and Clancy Brown.
The procedural comedy drama follows Lou (Leighton) and Henry (Luke), a detective duo working on a small police force in the Pacific Northwest.
They are forced to contend withcolorful residents, a lack of resources and a complex family dynamic with their police chief Big Hank (Clancy), who is also their father.
Leighton is in Queensland filming comedy drama series Good Cop/Bad Cop, in which she will star opposite Luke Cook as one half of a detective duo.
