The news is announced in an article on Netflix’s Tudum site wrote: ‘Over the past two decades, Gordon Ramsay has made a name for himself in the kitchen and on television.
‘The multi-Michelin star chef has trained with some of the world’s best chefs and has led successful kitchens of all ages around the world.
On August 21, it was announced that Ramsay will star in a new documentary series that follows the build-up to his biggest restaurant venture to date: the opening of five culinary experiences in London’s second-tallest building, 22 Bishopsgate.
The series is set over nine months and offers exclusive access to the Ramsay family as Gordon juggles his various work commitments with life as husband to his wife Tana and father to their six children.
‘This project is produced by Studio Ramsay Global, a FOX Entertainment Company. It is directed by Dionne Bromfield, with executive producers Amanda Westwood, Deborah Sargeant and Lisa Edwards and production director Jess Holder.’
A source said The sun: ‘Gordon is not exactly a shy and reserved type, so this will be a series without limitations and without flaws.
‘Expect more than a few swear words, but cameras will follow him in and out of the kitchen in preparation for the opening of his newest restaurant early next year.
“His wife, Tana, and the kids are expected to make cameos. People will see a whole new side of Gordon.”
The source added that those involved felt it was a good time to take action, given the huge success of the kitchen series The Bear.
Gordon and Tana are parents to Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Tilly, 22, Oscar, 5, and Jesse, 9 months.
