Gordon Ramsay shares a sweet kiss with son Oscar, four, as they enjoy a family meal together

Gordon Ramsay delighted his 23 million Facebook followers when he posted an adorable photo of himself and his son in Cornwall on Sunday.

The celebrity chef, 56, took to the social media platform and posted a picture of himself and Oscar, four, sharing a sweet kiss during a getaway in the seaside town.

Gordon also posted an image of his son enjoying a slice of cake as they ate at a new restaurant in Rock called Four Boys Café.

The star, who shares kids Oscar, Megan, 24, twins Holly and Jack, 23, and Tilly, 21, with wife Tana, took the time to upload pictures of his own meal too.

Gordon was deeply impressed by the cuisine and heaped praise on the company from his fans.

This week, Gordon kept a low profile as he flew into Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport before bringing his famous Michelin-starred restaurant to Australia.

The star carried a backpack as he quickly made his way through the terminal, escorted by a staffer.

Gordon kept it businesslike in a black T-shirt and jeans after the long-haul flight. A fan saw Gordon at the airport and posted a picture they took of him Reddit.

The ticketed restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, will take over Aria, head chef from Australian chef Matt Moran, in the heart of Sydney from May 8-10, showcasing the “very best Australian seasonal produce.”

On the Reddit thread, fans were quick to share some sassy comments and some featuring Ramsay’s iconic catchphrase.

“Where’s the mint sauce, donkey?!” read a comment hilarious.

“Imagine serving him airplane food,” read another comment.

Despite the cost-of-living crisis hanging over Australia, top chef Gordon brings his three-Michelin-starred restaurant Down Under for nearly $800 per person.

Tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime experience cost $495 per person, which includes a seven-course meal, with a premium wine pairing option for $295, bringing the total to $790 per person.

An Aria spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that the staggering price has been set because this is the first time the high-end restaurant has ventured internationally and the menu has been personally curated by Ramsay and Moran.

The menu features restaurant Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes, including shellfish raviolo and pecan dessert.

Word of the event quickly spread on social media, with guests raving about the outrageous prize.

At first, many seemed excited to visit and bring a friend, but were turned away after seeing the cost.

“For almost $500 per person, the food should be amazing,” one woman commented on Facebook.

“$800 each?” another asked, a third joked: ‘If you take out a home loan, you can buy an entrance!’

“I hope it’s an improvement. Aria is extremely overrated,” added another.

Others said they would only be tempted to pay and go if Ramsay made a guest appearance for the duration of the three-day event.

“I’d love to sit at the chef’s table with Aria if Gordon Ramsay was on the pass,” one woman wrote.

Ramsay said: ‘Working with my good friend Matt Moran, and talented chef, Matt Abé at Aria, with its stunning views over Sydney Harbour, to create a menu that uses Australia’s incredible local produce whilst retaining the finesse of our 3-star Michelin delivers menu is a dream come true.’
