GOP Rep Lauren Boebert proudly admits SINGING during Beetlejuice musical performance in Denver before being kicked out with friend ‘after vaping and taking photos, then telling staff: “Do you know who I am?”‘

Firebrand Congresswoman Lauren Boebert was escorted from a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice” in downtown Denver after being accused by the venue of vaping, singing, taping the show and “creating a nuisance.”

Denver Arts & Venues officials noted that two patrons were asked to leave the Buell Theater this weekend after receiving a warning about their behavior during intermission.

The group did not name the patrons, but Boebert’s office confirmed it was Colorado’s conservative representative.

An official report suggested that once Boebert and her unnamed friend were escorted into the theater’s lobby, they made comments along the lines of, “Do you know who I am?” and ‘I’ll contact the mayor.’

In addition to allegedly recording portions of the show, which is expressly prohibited, Boebert and her friend were accused of “being loud,” which Boebert himself admitted in a tweet about the incident.

“It’s true, I thoroughly enjoyed the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theater and I confess to being guilty of laughing and singing too loudly!” wrote the second-term congressman.

Singing along with artists at a musical is generally considered extremely taboo behavior.

“If you get a chance, everyone should check it out this week and please let me know how it turns out!” Boebert added.

A campaign manager for Boebert, Drew Sexton, issued a statement to a Colorado news station: “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: On her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) to the dismay of one select group, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice.’

He said the representative encourages everyone to see the play, but “with a friendly reminder to leave their phones out of the venue.”

Sexton said Boebert used her phone to take a photo of the show because she did not know photos were not allowed.

An incident report shows that the two were warned about their behavior during the break, according to the Denver Post. But five minutes into the second act, safety officials received another complaint about a person being loud and recording the show.

“They told me they weren’t going to leave,” an usher said, the report said. “I told them to leave the theater and if they don’t, they are in violation. The customers said they wouldn’t leave. I told them I was going to involve the Denver Police Department. They said, ‘Go get them.’

Police were called to the scene and stayed until Boebert and her boyfriend left.

In May, Boebert filed for divorce from her husband after 18 years of marriage.

In her statement, the second-year congresswoman said, “It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband. I am grateful for our many years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, who all deserve privacy and love as we work through this process.”

“I have always been faithful in my marriage and I believe strongly in marriage, which makes this announcement all the more difficult.”
