Good Samaritan who beat up ‘illegal immigrant child rapist’ reveals his satisfying comeback to pleading suspect as he lay cowering on street

A good Samaritan who beat up a child rape suspect by illegal immigrants has revealed the sharp comeback he made as the man begged for mercy.

Jeffrey Flores, 24, said: ‘He was screaming for help… he just kept saying ‘Help!’ say… and I said, “That’s what the little girl said.”

Flores gave the answer to Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, 25, when he saw him Tuesday night at his local deli in Corona, Queens.

Inga-Landi, from Ecuador, is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl while brandishing a machete last Thursday, and kidnapping a second youth at the same time.

His image was then widely circulated by local media, with Flores and a friend who gave his name as Forge quickly realizing the suspect was a local man.

They staked out a deli where they had seen him, with Flores dragging Inga-Landi outside and tying him to a lamppost when he saw him appear.

Inga-Landi crawled under a nearby car in an attempt to escape the blows of six angry locals. Both men said they might have killed him had he not escaped the orgy of vigilante violence.

Flores told DailyMail.com: ‘What we wanted to do to him was much worse.’

Forge added, “Honestly, who knows what would have happened (if he hadn’t crawled under the car).

“He probably wouldn’t be here.”

Inga-Landi, who reportedly crossed the southern border illegally in 2021, was arrested shortly afterwards and is in jail on charges including rape, sexual abuse, theft and unlawful endangerment.

Flores, recalling how he tracked down the creep, said, “When I heard about him, I said, ‘Oh yeah, I’ll stay out and look for him…'”

‘Then I saw him walking down the street and I recognized him. I was excited… He went into the store… I forget what he bought.

“So I went in and out again, and then a second time, it still wasn’t out. He was just standing there, so I grabbed him and put him on the ground

“I told the people there that he was the rapist and then everyone started going crazy.”

Flores is now in line to collect a $10,000 reward offered by the NYPD for the successful capture of Inga-Landi.

He told DailyMail.com that he had contacted police about the money and that they would contact him within days.

Flores added, “I didn’t do it for the pay, I did it for the people.”

After his arrest, Inga-Landi allegedly waived his Miranda rights and told police officers that drugs were to blame for his behavior.

He would have added that he had never behaved like that before.

NYPD Patrol Chief John Chell praised Flores, Forge and their friends for taking down Inga-Landi, saying, “The city said no. Great response from the community and that’s what you want.”
