‘She jumps all the time mid-sentence’: Good Morning Britain viewers beg Kate Garraway to ‘stop interrupting’ guest Martin Lewis
Viewers of Good Morning Britain were left frustrated during Wednesday’s show after Kate Garraway interrupted guest Martin Lewis.
Viewers asked the GMB host to “let Martin do the talking” after she talked about the business and finance expert multiple times during her segment.
Martin was on the show to give his opinion on Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s Tuesday budget and, in particular, the postponement of the 20% increase in the energy price guarantee, a campaign Martin spearheaded.
Viewers were eager to hear her explain what the postponement means, but were frustrated when Kate, speaking live from the studio, interrupted Martin, who was appearing via video link from his London home.

Martin tried to continue, but Kate spoke again and said, ‘Go ahead, Martin!’

I wish Kate would let people talk!! She jumps all the time in the middle of the sentence. My head hurts!!’ agreed another.
In response to Martin’s Twitter post about his appearance, another viewer tweeted that “the interruptions you had to wait patiently for were extremely annoying and contributed nothing.”

GMB’s Kate Garraway, 55, and Ben Shephard, 48, cut to Lorraine to find out what was coming up, only to find the Scottish star and her situation written out.
The message said: ‘I lost my voice, Hilary, can you take over?’
Fortunately, the regular Dr. Hilary was ready to help and told the audience what to expect.
Laughing, Kate said, “It’ll be like watching it with subtitles.”
Lorraine later went on to host the show with Hilary’s help after squawking, “I’ve been on tons of meds.”
Later in the show, Lorraine delivered the audience to This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
After croaking through the chat, Phillip cheekily told him, “Go suck on a fisherman’s friend.”
“I definitely will,” Lorraine declared, leaving the cheeky hosts of This Morning laughing like naughty kids at school.
