Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts was seen in a rare sighting with his 18-year-old girlfriend, Amber.

Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts has been in a relationship with masseuse Amber Laign, 48, since 2005.

On Wednesday, the longtime couple, who plan to tie the knot this year, were spotted together in a rare sighting in New York City.

Both women were bundled up for the winter weather with Robin, 62, in black sweatpants, a black fur-trimmed coat, scarf and gray beanie.

Amber was also dressed casually in black slacks, a white blouse, a long army green coat that she left unbuttoned, and a scarf. She was wearing a shoulder bag.

In January, Robin revealed that she and her longtime partner plan to marry in 2023, a year after the masseur’s breast cancer diagnosis.

The Good Morning America host made the surprise announcement while interviewing author Gabby Bernstein about her book Super Attractor: Methods for Manifesting a Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams in January.

Bernstein, 43, was sharing techniques for setting intentions in 2023 when he asked Robin what she would “say yes” to this year. The nervous journalist admitted that she was hesitant to answer because she hasn’t said it out loud yet.

‘I’m saying yes to marriage. We’re getting married this year,’ Roberts finally shared. It’s something we’ve talked about, but we had put it off. She got sick, and that’s saying yes to that and the next chapter.’

Amber was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2021, and news of her upcoming marriage comes five months after they celebrated her completion of radiation treatment.

Roberts seemed to surprise everyone, including herself, when she divulged her plans to get married in 2023.

She said it. We got a yes,” Bernstein said, prompting the audience to break into applause.

Roberts started fanning herself with her cue cards when the rally guru encouraged her to create a wedding vision board before her big day.

The journalist explained that she was more focused on their future together than on the details of the ceremony.

“I want to meditate on the marriage, not the wedding,” he said.

Robin and Amber met in 2005, when mutual friends set them up on a blind date. The former spoke about their meeting in her memoir ‘Everybody’s Got Something’.

I liked the fact that she had no idea who I was. She rarely followed sports, so she never watched me on ESPN, and her office mates at the time watched a different morning show…ouch! she wrote.

“She’s extremely laid back, no drama, no fuss,” he added. ‘The main thing we have in common is positive energy. She sees the good in everyone.

Robin counted on Amber’s support as she battled and overcame an early form of breast cancer in 2007. Five years later, she was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a disease in which the bone marrow doesn’t produce enough healthy blood cells.

She underwent several sessions of chemotherapy and on September 20, 2012, received a bone marrow transplant from her sister, Sally-Ann Roberts, before returning to Good Morning America in February 2013.

The couple kept their relationship private until 2013, when Robin first came out in a Facebook post. She shared a list of everyone she was thankful for in honor of her at the end of the year and included ‘longtime girlfriend of hers, Amber.’

Nearly a decade later, their roles were reversed, and Robin became Amber’s caregiver as she battled breast cancer.
