But Delta Goodrem has revealed she wasn’t always a “good girl.”
The 39-year-old hitmaker appeared on 2Hughesy, Ed & Erin from DAY FM show on Wednesday and revealed that she was once involved in an ugly brawl.
Delta said the incident happened when she was about 14, while she was in high school.
The We Were Made for Love singer said things got physical with an opponent during a game of netball.

And surprisingly, the soft-spoken singer admitted that she had instigated the situation.
“I think I was a little cheeky and she turned around and just waved at me,” Delta explained.
Delta said she relied on her “natural instincts” to defend herself.
“I just started waving my hands everywhere. I remember we both dropped out of the reputation competition.”
Delta also revealed details about her engagement last year to Matthew Copley
Delta explained that she was just a small teenager at the time, while her opponent was “a lot bigger.”
“I remember I was scrapping,” she said, by way of demonstration.
Elsewhere in the chat, Delta revealed details about her engagement to Matthew Copley.
She said the rocker popped the question after getting down on one knee.

“I begged,” host Dave Hughes teased the star.
“No, there were too many tears of joy,” Delta replied, laughing.
She announced the happy news last September in an Instagram post with a loving photo of the couple on holiday in Malta.
In the image, Delta tenderly embraced her love in front of a beautiful sea view as the sun set in the foreground and the couple enjoyed a glass of champagne.
“My best friend asked me to marry him,” she giddily captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.

Delta has dated quite a few famous faces, from Nick Jonas and Brian McFadden to tennis great Mark Philippoussis.
But much less is known about Matthew, the singer’s current boyfriend.
