A golf pro at Donald Trump’s Florida golf club has revealed just how good the former president really is on the course, after he clashed with President Joe Biden over their handicaps.
Trump’s love of golf is well documented, with the 78-year-old regularly seen on the course at his clubs in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, and Bedminster, New Jersey.
And after touting his golf skills during the presidential debate — he had just won two club championships — the head golf pro at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, praised his abilities.
“At our club championship in March, I saw President Trump hit a perfect 210-yard fore iron to within 10 feet of the hole,” John Nieporte said at the Republican National Convention, according to the Huff message.
“He had to sink that putt to win. Do you think he sank it? You better believe he sank that putt.”

President Biden claimed he had his disability reduced to six when he was vice president — a claim Trump ridiculed
Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba later claimed that Trump had “a great golf swing” and could even keep up with professional golfers.
“He can really beat those guys up,” Habba said.
Not everyone is as complimentary about Trump’s golf game, however. Sports journalist Rick Reilly previously accused him of cheating and using a “turbo golf cart” that was faster than his opponents so he could move his balls better.
Speak with White House Deadline In March, Reilly also claimed that Trump “has never won a championship on a course he doesn’t own and operate.”
“I’ve always said golf is like a pair of bike shorts. It says a lot about a man,” Reilly said. “And what it says about this man is he can’t lose. He’s got to win, and he’ll do anything to cheat.”
“And I know because I played golf with him and he took seven mulligans. He took a ‘give me chip-in.’ I’ve never heard of a ‘give me chip-in.’
Regardless, Trump is very confident in his own golfing skills, claiming earlier in the debate that Biden “can’t hit a ball 50 yards.”
Biden would later claim that he had a six-figure handicap during his time as vice president — which Trump found ridiculous — before calling his political opponent a “child.”
Earlier this month, Trump emerged as a surprise outside candidate to captain the US Ryder Cup.
According to the stats, he would have odds of 500/1 to lead the US against Luke Donald’s European team. BonusCodeBetting .
