Golf fans all say the same thing about Tiger Woods’ walkout song ahead of legend’s TGL debut

On the second night of the TGL’s existence, the biggest name in the sport stepped onto the massive, technology-filled stage he helped build to take golf into the future.

Tiger Woods arrived as one of three competitors in Tuesday night’s showdown between his Jupiter Links Golf Club and Los Angeles Golf Club.

As the last member of the team introduced to the crowd at the SoFi Center, Woods was able to choose his own music to walk to.

It may come as no surprise that Tiger went with Survivor’s 1982 classic rock hit “Eye of the Tiger.”

Fans of the sport reacted to the decision on social media. Many loved the selection, while others said it seemed like the most obvious choice.

“Tiger Wood’s strike on TGL made me want to run through a brick wall. I’m excited #TGL,” wrote one user on X, formerly Twitter.

While Tiger’s arrival may have been cause for hype, the play of his TGL team didn’t quite live up to those expectations.

At the time of publication, the evening’s proceedings had progressed to the singles portion, with Jupiter Links trailing 8-1 with six holes to go.
