A Goldman Sachs partner reportedly paid millions to a junior staffer in a lawsuit after he accidentally sent her a sexually explicit recording of himself.

Adam Dell, who has been a partner at the firm since 2018, included the explicit clip of himself in a work-related video sent to a female member of staff, Bloomberg reports.

The ordeal reportedly took place in 2020 and an internal review was launched – which was conducted by Goldman Sachs’ top executives, including the company’s CEO David Solomon.

According to Bloomberg, Dell, 53, did not realize the camera was filming him outside the work project, and then sent the entire file to the staff member.

Dell has a daughter, born in 2010, with actress and author Padma Lakshmi

Dell, the brother of billionaire Michael Dell who founded computer manufacturer Dell Inc, left the company on good terms months later. The woman he sent the video to also quit.

The alleged victim, whose name has not been released, hired a lawyer and sought $30 million in damages — citing the content of the video and the fact that the situation would damage her reputation, Bloomberg reported.

Father-of-one Dell reached a “multi-million dollar” deal and paid out to the woman.

But the settlement, according to the report, was “much smaller” than her $30 million suggested.

Senior executives at Goldman Sachs believed that if the woman was so traumatized by the explicit, she could have simply stopped watching, according to Bloomberg’s sources describing their reactions.

Dell is a venture capitalist who founded the personal finance app Clarity Money. It was acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2018.

At the same time, he joined the investment bank as a partner.

Dell has a daughter, born in 2010, with actress and author Padma Lakshmi.

Lakshmi was previously married to Salman Rushdie.

Goldman Sachs spokesman Tony Fratto said in a statement: “As we have told Bloomberg, their reporting contains significant factual errors and continues to use unreliable sources. This reporting does not meet fundamental journalistic standards.’

He declined to comment on the factual errors in the report.
