Goldie Hawn, 77, calls her longtime partner Kurt Russell “the crazy man” in her life as she wishes him a happy 72nd birthday: “I love you baby!”
Goldie Hawn shared a post on her Instagram account to mark her partner Kurt Russell’s 72nd birthday, which occurred on Friday.
The 77-year-old singer shared a screenshot from an episode of Sunday Morning, in which she and the actor sat down for a light-hearted interview.
The Academy Award-winning star, who was recently spotted out and about in New York City, also wrote a short message in the caption of her post that read: “Happy birthday to the crazy man in my life! I love you darling.’
Hawn and Russell initially met while working in The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, which was released in 1968.
The actress was previously married to Gus Trikonis, and their marriage lasted from 1969 to 1976.

The Cactus Flower star moved on, eventually marrying Bill Hudson that same year.
The former couple welcomed a son named Oliver, 46, as well as daughter Kate, 43, during the course of their marriage, which ended in 1982.
Russell was also previously married to Season Hubley from 1979 to 1983.
Hawn and her longtime partner met again on the set of 1984’s Swing Shift, in which they co-starred.
The two began a relationship and brought a 36-year-old son named Wyatt into their lives in 1986, and co-starred in Overboard, which was released the following year.
The couple have remained selective about appearing together ever since, though they did play Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus in 2018’s The Christmas Chronicles, as well as its 2020 sequel.
Hawn and Russell opened up about their relationship during an interview with Peoplewhere the latter expressed that he and his partner did not feel the need to formalize their relationship.
“For people like us, the marriage certificate wasn’t going to create anything we wouldn’t have otherwise,” he said.

The actress also claimed that she was not interested in getting married as she still felt strongly connected to her partner.
It’s not about marriage. It’s about the people and the relationship, and the willingness to stay together,” she said.
Hawn concluded by saying that she and Russell were immensely grateful for the family they had raised.
“That feeling of gratitude is important, because it’s good for your brain, your heart, and your health. It’s a good thing to pass on,” she said.
