Golden Globes 2024: America Ferrera puts on a face mask while Jordana Brewster shares a humorous BTS photo as stars get ready for the awards ceremony

America Ferrera started her preparation for the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards early in the day alongside Jordana Brewster and other stars ahead of Sunday's ceremony.

The Barbie actress, 39 – who was recently called an “inspiration” by close friend Jennifer Lopez – is just one of the presenters at the event, being held later today at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The beauty started her morning with a cup of hot coffee and a moisturizing face mask before getting glam in a short clip uploaded to her Instagram Stories.

Standing outside in the warm sun, Ferrera wrote, “@GoldenGlobes Prep Commence: Moisture, Coffee, A Little Kenergy.”

Later on Sunday, America shared another snap as she lay in a chair while getting her hair and makeup done. 'Glam time!' she typed the text that was added at the top.

Jordana Brewster – who is known for her starring role in the Fast & Furious franchise – shared a humorous photo as she got ready for the big night.

The actress was seen in a bathroom near a toilet and appeared to be laughing, which was caught on camera.

In the caption, the star wrote to her fans and followers: “Nerve bladder #goldenglobes.”

Brewster wore a sleeveless black dress with numerous small cutouts at the top that flowed into a full skirt.

Her brunette locks were parted in the middle and pulled back into a chic updo, allowing a few wavy strands to flow down the sides of her face.

Golden Globes host Jo Koy also took to his Instagram Stories as he prepared for his hosting duties.

In the clip, he jokingly began, “Okay. We're looking at T-minus, I don't know, I don't even know anymore.'

'Tonight, January 7, is the Golden Globes. Turn on your TVs!' he added. At the bottom he also wrote: '@goldenglobes on @cbstv @paramountplus Tonight!'

The Color Purple actress, Danielle Brooks, shared an image on her Instagram Stories wearing a soft purple robe as she sipped a refreshing drink.

The star held a white mug with “Awards Season Fuel” printed in black letters on the front.

Issa Rae also had a blast getting ready for the special day, sharing her stories while wearing a gray robe.

The insecure actress could be seen opening a bottle of champagne as four glasses were lined up on a table in front of her.

In the text at the bottom of the light-hearted video, Rae typed “Globes Pre-Game Essential.”

Journalist Marc Malkin also took to social media before hosting the Golden Globes pre-show. He uploaded a selfie he took while sitting in a car and typed: “On the way…”

Once he got to the location, he also shared another image as he stood on the red carpet and crossed paths with TV host and actress Rachel Smith. “Me and @rachelsmithtv getting ready! #GoldenGlobes.'

He kept it casual before dressing for the event with a plaid button-up and a cream cardigan to keep him warm in colder weather.
