Woolworths releases a rare ‘gold’ brick collectible that could make you a fortune – here’s everything you need to know

  • Woolworths has released a rare addition to its collection of Bricks collectibles
  • There are only 100 units left of the Golden Farmer and Wheelbarrow figure

Woolworths has announced the release of a new Bricks collectible, but the coveted item is in limited stock.

The beloved Australian supermarket chain confirmed that there were only 100 units of Golden Farmer and Wheelbarrow Bricks in circulation.

The piece launched on February 8, so customers are encouraged to check out their collections in case one of the in-demand figures has made its way to their mini farms.

Like the previous items, the Golden Farmer and Wheelbarrow bricks are available in free kits that customers receive with every $30 purchase.

The current edition of Bricks is available for pickup in stores and online through March 21 or while supplies last.

Previously, buyers sold their rare collectibles on eBay and Marketplace for thousands of dollars, making them a highly coveted find.

“We designed Woolworths Bricks Farm in the hope that it would encourage learning about food through play and creativity,” a spokesperson told FEMAIL.

“The ultra-rare Golden Farmer and Wheelbarrow bricks are now in circulation, and we encourage customers to check out their collections if they’ve already found one.”

Woolworths Bricks collectibles are made from 80% recycled materials, including old fridges, swimming goggles and luggage handles.

Woolworths originally launched the Bricks collectibles to encourage customers to learn more about where their food comes from and appreciate the hard work Australian farmers put in to keep people fed and healthy.

Customers can also recycle duplicate or much-loved Bricks collectibles at all Woolworths locations across Australia.
