A car rental company employee broke out at a customer in a confrontation captured on video.
Footage at Goldcar, just outside Sydney’s domestic airport, shows the two men pointing across the counter at each other and shouting.
The employee is heard shouting, “I spoke to you very kindly, sir” after the customer asked for his name so he could file a formal complaint against him.
The war of words then escalated when the customer told the worker to leave and motioned him to a back door.
“I am not your servant!” the irate worker shouted in the man’s face before being led away by a colleague.

The video divided opinions online after it was posted on TikTok.
“No excuse to act this way towards customers no matter what,” one user wrote. ‘If customers behave calmly, call the police/security.’
“Customer service rule number 1: Customers are always right, first thing I was told when I started,” said another.
Others disagreed, blaming the “rude customer rather than poor customer service.”
‘He told the car rental guy to shut up. How is that respectful? It’s a two-way street: don’t speak rudely to anyone and expect politeness in return,” one person said.
“The customer started it by telling the employee to shut up,” wrote a second. “Don’t blame the worker for blowing up.”
