Researchers analyzed more than 1.1 million data points to reveal Australia’s top secret beaches so travelers can avoid the crowds and discover some of the country’s best hidden gems.
The top ten beaches had the highest number of five-star ratings and the lowest number of searches online.
Other beaches on the list included Stokes Beach on Kangaroo Island in South Australia, Logans Beach in Warrnambool, Victoria and Bennetts Beach in Hawks Nest, New South Wales.
Queensland dominated the top ten with Maroochydore Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Hydeaway Bay Beach and Shelving Beach on Great Keppel Island coming in third, eight and ten respectively.
